Spokane County Revised Shoreline Regulations Up for Public Review

How the shorelines along the Spokane River and Spokane County’s lakes and streams will be protected and regulated is mapped out in a revised document that needs public review.
The Washington Department of Ecology (Ecology) is asking the public to review Spokane County’s proposed update of its shoreline master program (SMP). The review period will run through Oct. 2, 2009.
A public workshop and hearing is planned for 7 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 15, at Spokane Community College, Building 6, Sasquatch Room, 1810 N. Greene St., Spokane.
