In our region we’ve been blessed by bountiful water. But even here there are limits that agencies and citizens are considering along the Coeur d’Alene – Spokane River Corridor. “Idaho completed their Comprehensive Aquifer Management Plan last year, and Washington has watershed management plans that are being implemented,” said Andy Dunau, the Forum’s Executive Director. “All these plans talk about the need for regional collaboration, conservation, water rights and best management practices.”

The H2O breakfast is designed to continue the regional conversation. Pat Mulroy, General Manager of the Southern Nevada Water Authority, will share her experience as a principal architect behind development of a regional water collaborative that delivers water to two million residents.

Ted Sturdevant and Gary Spackman will then give updates and perspectives regarding Washington and Idaho approaches to managing water in our area.
